Lots of fun was had as we prepared the gardens for the bulbs. Planting is scheduled for 10:00am next Saturday - please join us.
Floriade is coming to Torrens Community Hall
This week we started preparing the garden beds. On Tuesday, 1 June 2021, the soil and bulbs arrive and next Saturday at 10:00am the planting begins.
All are welcome to come along to help out, or bring snacks for the workers and enjoy the wonderful community spirit.
Walking Meditation
Rain is forecast again on the weekend. We will aim to hold this event at a later time.
Join us at for a very special Walking Meditation on Mt Taylor. We will meet at Torrens Hall, and from there you will be guided through mindfulness practice, on a gentle walk, taking in the beauty and tranquility of Mt Taylor. Suitable for all levels of fitness.

Join us at Eddison Park for a Vinyasa Flow class offering a wonderful mix of energising yoga postures, breath work and meditation to recharge your batteries. There is no better way to start your Sunday than a spot of yoga and then a wander around at the Southside Markets. Suitable for beginners and those with limited yoga experience. Total Spring Bliss!
Online Yoga - classes suspended
Throughout 2020 we have offered live 30min online classes, which were free (or for donation) and designed to be easy to follow along from home. However these classes are now suspended. We will review again in 2021.
Covid 19 - All classes currently suspended
The current uncertainty may be causing you concern, and ask that you take good care of yourself, remembering, your mental health is just as important as your physical well-being. Yoga offers so much during times of struggle and uncertainty and we will be providing ongoing advice and tools to support your home practice. As always, we encourage you to centre yourself by finding your breath and practicing mindfulness as you move through each day.
We assure you that your passes remain valid and that we will be back. In the interim, we are offering free online classes and will be staying in touch to offer what we can.
Community is everything, particularly during times of hardship, Please don't hesitate to reach out if you are struggling, and let's aim to lean into, nurture and protect every person in our community as best as we are able during these difficult times.

Free Frontline Yoga Now 8am Saturday
Saturday 8:00 - 8:45am
We are excited to offer a free weekly class to frontline workers: incl: police, firefighters, paramedics, Defence force members, medical professionals, RFS/SES volunteers and their supporters. Members of the public are welcome by donation. All classes are taught with trauma sensitive guidelines and are therefore suitable for those with stress, anxiety and PTSD. The classes focus on developing mental and physical strength and are suitable for all levels including beginners. Moderate.

Our Saturday morning class provides an opportunity to commit to weekly practice. This class offers comprehensive coverage of yoga postures, breathing, relaxation and meditation practices designed to meet students' needs.
Through your teacher, you will develop strength, flexibility, mindfulness, mental and emotional balance and overall well being in a safe and friendly community environment.
This class is suitable for beginners and those wanting to expand their practice.

According to science, laughing doesn't just feel good, it is a highly effective therapy. Laughter is cathartic, releasing negative emotions and when combined with yoga works wonders on several levels, including: the physical body, emotions, mind and spirit......some of the benefits of laughter yoga include:

New - Friday Morning Vinyasa Flow 6:30am
Wake up and shake it up with this active and dynamic yoga flow class, which focuses on building core strength. The classes will start out slow and allow you to build your practice over the 10 week term.
